The stock level of 8.8 psi is increased to 13 psi. There associated fuel, timing, and ignition maps are all updated as well to ensure a stock like tune. The front is really a 2 piece splitter that gives the 3-Series a mean look. Out back the diffuser is replaced by a carbon fiber part. They also offer a power dome hood. Other variations on the lip and rear diffuser, and another style hood!

The BMW 7-series comes with a variety of engines from a fuel efficient V-6 all the way to a twin-turbo V-10.  Alpina cars usually get an optimized V-8 engine and the B7 is no exception.  The weight savings that come from the V-8 engine compared to the V-10 make this an easy decision for Alpina.  The twin turbo V-8 not only pumps out 507 horsepower (way more than stock), but it also nets better fuel economy.  The engine tuning consists of better pistons, but there are also intercoolers to cool down the hot compressed gasses.  The Alpina B7 can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 4.7 seconds.  Power is transferred through a six-speed automatic sport transmission.

What makes the 2010 X6 hybrid so great is the 2 Mode hybrid system which allows this SUV to run on electric power alone.  This allows the X6 to use no gas while the speeds are low.  The X6 hybrid electric motors power the vehicle thanks to Nickel-Metal-Hydride batteries.  Once the X6 reaches a certain speed the gas engine will kick in.
